Our client contacted us with the hope of creating a backyard space that was predominately contemporary in style with subtle classical highlights. They wanted an open concept with a diversity of options for entertaining friends and family. With all this in mind we designed and built this landscape. The large patio with protruding grasses and perennials provides a contemporary backdrop for lounging and outdoor dining. The rich blue modern pool both provides an aesthetically interesting element to the space as well as plenty of opportunity for fun. The front entrance to the house was upgraded with interlock walkways accompanied by natural stone steps as well as dry stack stone retaining walls. A mixture of perennial grasses and woody shrubs help soften the stone and create a multi-seasonal garden that adds visual aesthetic.
